Find A Friend Campaign

To strengthen the Holland Alumni Network in Indonesia, it is important that alumni get connected with each other and that they are updated with Holland Alumni activities in Indonesia. Because it is common that people do move and change jobs, it is not always easy for us to find your fellow Holland Alumni. By participating in our “Find a Friend” campaign, you can help us in finding Indonesian Holland Alumni. Through this campaign, we aim to get (re) – connected with some lost alumni, and to link them with their Alma Mater, amongst Holland Alumni and with the Netherlands.

Holland Alumni Dinner Surabaya - March 30, 2012

On March 30, 2012, Nuffic Neso Indonesia in co – operation with IKANED organized an alumni dinner in Surabaya for the second time. The dinner, held at Novotel Surabaya, was well – attended by almost 30 Holland Alumni from different Dutch Higher Education Institutions and disciplines. The attending alumni came mostly from Surabaya and surrounding cities, but some even came over from South Kalimantan and Bali.

Studying at TU Delft has been one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences in my life. Without exaggerating I can say that it has shaped my future and changed my way of thinking forever. The professors in Dutch universities do not only look for answers to questions, but are also asking their students to explain how they got to the right answer. This means that you have to be extremely well prepared for your exams or assignments. I think that this way of solving academic and real-life problems has brought myself and the Netherlands a lot of rewards.
