Holland Alumni constitutes an important target group for Dutch higher education. Following the completion of their studies in the Netherlands, Holland Alumni are ambassadors of Dutch higher education. They can contribute in different ways to the positioning of Dutch higher education abroad including strengthening the competitive position of the Netherlands.

On the occasion of the visit of Dr. F. X. Suryadi from UNESCO – IHE, Institute of Water Education, Nuffic Neso Indonesia in co – operation with IKANED organized a half day seminar for Holland Alumni at Hotel The Jayakarta Daira in Palembang on August 12, 2011. Professor Robiyanto Hendro Susanto from Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI) and an alumna of UNESCO – IHE, Ms. Eka Gustini M.Sc. participated as co – speakers.
